Stout Sand Snake rescued from dombivli. All snake recuers confirmed that this is the first time occurrence of such snake.The rescuer of this snake Mr. Subhash Pandiyan said this is the first time in 20 years of our snake rescue.

Common Name - Stout Sand Snake, Jad reti sarp (Marathi) .
Color - light or dark brown , with blackish neck and black margin on scales.
Food - Rodents, skinks, lizards etc.

The occurrence of the snake first time increased the curiosity of snake lovers. Mr. Anish Gurjar, Manish Pimple , Subhash Pandiyan started researching about this species. There might be chances of migration of this snake or any geographical reason. As this snake found near railway line of Bhopar, chances of migration by this snake from the top of train increased.
